On 14th November 2014 at the Design Industry of Australia (DIA) Awards in Perth, Luminosity won an award in the Visual Communication category for the brochure we created for Bonfire – one of Australia’s leading SEO consultancies. The DIA award panel made special mention of the brochure’s tactile qualities, while also praising our team’s understanding of the technicalities of the digital print process.

Take the digitally printed cover on clear acetate. This finish – a first for Perth – was the result of a series of trials and tests we carried out in partnership with our printing partners.
Indeed, the brochure is an innovative solution in concept, as well as execution, born out of Bonfire’s brief to ‘show us something we haven’t seen before’.
From the unique brand personality, with a carefully weighted and lightly humorous tone of voice, to the distinctive retro imagery, the brochure and its accompanying folder benchmarks Bonfire as a relatable, human face in the often intimidatingly technical world of SEO.
Every detail has been crafted to communicate the story of individual care and personalisation that’s central to the Bonfire experience, right down to the metal eyelets in the bespoke, hand-finished folder.
More than just a brochure and folder, it’s a piece of art – a triumph in brand storytelling through high-end design and print ingenuity.
